Each year, the club awards scholarships to deserving High School Seniors in the Monmouth and Ocean County areas. The scholarships are awarded at the club's annual Founders' Day Observance.

Through philanthropic generosity of corporations, individual donations, and fundraising efforts, the Central Jersey Club of NANBPWC, Inc. have given over $400,000 in scholarships over the club’s history. 

2021 Scholarship Recipients

The Central Jersey Club awarded a total of $23,000 in scholarship monies to four deserving High School seniors from the Class of 2021. These students were selected by our Scholarship Committee based on their high academic achievements, community service and extracurricular activities.

Jordan Lucas

Neptune High School

Jordan is the recipient of the following scholarships: O'Neill Family & FriendsCentral Jersey Club, William E. Pullen, Jr., and Kanesha & Bobby Jones Scholarships. Jordan will be attending NJIT in the Fall. He will pursue a career in Architectural Engineering.

Te'Leah Archer-Buckley

Neptune High School

Te'Leah is the recipient of the Central Jersey Club & Julia Cares Foundation Scholarships. Her dream is to attend Spelman College in the Fall and to become a Criminal Defense or Civil Rights Attorney.

Toms River North High School

Jordan is the recipient of the Central Jersey Club Scholarship. He has applied to the following universities: Rowan University, University of Rhode Island, Penn State & Duquesne University. Jordan plans to study Athletic Training.


Temitope Ayetiwa

Jackson Liberty High School

Temitope is the recipient of the Central Jersey Club & Alyce Franklin-Owens scholarships. Temitope has applied to the following schools: New York University, Rutgers University & University of Pennsylvania. She will pursue a career in Medicine and Pharmacy.
